Introduction—Portfolio: Spring and Summer 2020
"Badger from Epimetheus" This one I made for Art230. I was based upon a creature from a short story that I wrote, and I used the project as motivation to write. Materials include Sculpey (polymer clay) and acrylic paint. The left image is the animal before receiving its paint job, and the right is the final product. "Psychopomp" This is a talisman-type piece that I made over the summer of 2020. It depicts a California Condor standing tall behind an image of an embryo. It is entirely made from Sculpey. "Sinornithosaurus Attempts I and II" Over the summer of 2020, I attempted to work on a Sinornithosaurus model from Sculpey and an armature of aluminum foil, wire, and masking tape. I hope to make a finalized model of Sinornithosaurus at some point. "Tribute to Wayne Barlow e — Bolt Tongue Bust WIP" Another sculpture I began in the summer of 2020.
